Lochmueller Group

A new Kansas home for an employee-owned engineering firm, built out inside the former Sprint campus in Overland Park. Lochmueller Group opened its first Kansas office in 2025 to bring its culture and client-first approach to the metro Kansas City engineering community. Monarch Build delivered the tenant improvement that turned an Aspiria suite into that office.

This 5,000 sf office renovation for Lochmueller Group included adding 8 new offices, 24 work stations, conference rooms, and a reception area.

Monarch Build started with selective demolition of the existing suite, then framed a new layout of open work areas, private offices and meeting rooms, with new drywall, ceilings, doors and glazing. The team installed flooring, paint, wall coverings, and modified the mechanical systems with new controls. Electrical, lighting, data and low-voltage work supports the workstations and conference spaces. The open layout and modern break room area make the new office area a great place for collabration.
