Aldi Store #02

With 35 stores in the Kansas City area, ALDI has become one of the top grocery store chains and one of the biggest private-sector employers in the KC Metro. While aiming to become the nation’s third largest grocery retailer, their expansion plan consisted of the build-out of some new store locations and numerous renovations. Monarch was excited to work alongside ALDI to construct a 21,000 square foot new store in Harrisonville, Missouri.

The new store features open ceilings, natural lighting, and environmentally friendly materials. To keep their stores consistent, ALDI sources and orders the casework, fixtures, and checkout stands. This was something the Monarch team was accustomed to, having worked with ALDI on four seperate store renovations in the KC Metro area. With super tight schedules, extreme coordination and proactive communication was a must.
