Harvesters Community Food Network

Lawrence, KS

Monarch Build served as the general contractor for the renovation of Harvesters’ new Lawrence, Kansas facility, ensuring a seamless relocation of their Topeka distribution center. Harvesters Community Food Network provides food and household products to 760+ nonprofit agencies across 26 counties in Missouri and Kansas. The move was necessary due to downtown Topeka’s redevelopment, requiring a new space with ample storage, high ceilings, and convenient highway access.

To meet these needs, Harvesters purchased a former pipe organ factory built in 2001. Monarch renovated the 75,000-square-foot building and added 10,000 square feet for docks and freezer space. Despite the relocation, Harvesters' services remained uninterrupted, with the project completed on time and within a strict deadline to ensure a smooth transition.
