Signal Theory

Kansas City, MO

A brand development, marketing and design firm, Signal Theory outgrew its space, resulting in the opportunity to create a new and more efficient environment in an existing commercial building in Kansas City, MO. Creative, collaborative, open space was key to Signal Theory’s vision, which was realized through the construction of 20+ new workspaces and meeting rooms, private offices, and two break rooms.

The firm’s unique style allowed for creative expressions to be infused into the new office, including a hidden speakeasy accessed through a secret bookcase entry. The improved space includes a fabrication studio, a multimedia room to accommodate photoshoots and commercial recording, and a sound booth.

A unique media ribbon circles the interior and accommodates multiple digital screens between the open-air first and second levels. Monarch and our trade partners successfully completed this project while working side by side with the landlord and their crews responsible for completing the landlord’s improvements.

To ensure success for all stakeholders, this project required proactive communication and minute-to-minute coordination, collaboration, and cooperation by all parties.
