Kansas City Current Training Faciity

“World-class.” That’s the term that Kansas City Current’s owners use to describe the national women’s soccer team’s new training facility. From its Riverside, MO location, the complex will incorporate tailor-designed features built for players, the community, and the future of women’s professional sports.

With two grass pitches and more than 18,000-sf of dedicated player and administrative space, the layout includes a bespoke locker room, elite weight and cardio rooms, and multiple outdoor and gathering areas.

In addition, administrative and leadership teams will enjoy spacious new offices, which are open and accessible to the facility’s nutrition and wellness areas.

Kansas City Current’s passion for community is demonstrated by its choice of the facility’s new location. Owners chose Riverside, in part, because of its specific adjacency to the Missouri River, a river they say helped shape the city’s history, attitudes, and attributes. Much like they hope to do for women’s professional sports globally and Kansas City particularly.
